'PlateTableSlice started off with a simple vision: to introduce true Neapolitan pizza to Roma. The Rossi family opened our pizza shop in 1985, initially a quaint, family-owned business with recipes passed on through several generations.
Marco Rossi, our pioneer, mastered the craft of pizza creation while exploring Italy and apprenticing with skilled pizza chefs in Naples—home to the original pizza. Upon her return to the UK, she set out to offer the taste of legitimate Italian pizza, honoring traditional methods and using the finest materials.
From a humble twelve-seater to a well-regarded neighborhood staple, our pizzeria has flourished, yet our devotion to top-notch authenticity remains firm. Our process still embraces age-old wood-burning oven techniques, we prepare our dough from scratch every day, and we seek out the best quality ingredients available.
'PlateTableSlice continues to be a family-run entity, now steered by the second generation of the Rossi lineage. Even though we've adopted some contemporary innovations, our core endures: crafting mouth-watering, genuine pizza to unite folks around.
